    Provides that payments received by precinct officials and assistants for work performed during the period from September 1, 2020, until November 5, 2020, do not affect the computation of the individual's partial unemployment weekly benefit.

    Makes conforming changes to the act's titles.

    The above provisions are effective October 1, 2019.

    Amends GS 7A-60 by changing the number of prosecutorial district 44 to 19. Makes conforming changes to Section 3(d) of SL 2018-121. Effective January 1, 2023.

    Authorizes the Revisor of Statutes to reorder the Superior Court Districts, the District Court Districts, and the Prosecutorial Districts to ensure that districts are listed in alphabetical and numerical order. 

    Amends the act's titles.

    Senate committee substitute to the 1st edition makes the following change. Makes amendment to GS 7A-60(a1), which renumbers the prosecutorial districts as specified, effective October 1 (was, July 1), 2019.


  • Summary date: Mar 11 2019 - View Summary

    Amends GS 7A-60(a1), which sets forth the number of assistant district attorneys for each prosecutorial district, by renumbering the prosecutorial districts as specified. Effective July 1, 2019.

    Further amends GS 7A-60(a1), as amended, splitting District 25 (Burke, Caldwell, Catawba; currently District 36), which is assigned 19 ADAs, into new District 25A (Burke, Caldwell) with 9 assigned ADAs and new District 25B (Catawba) with 10 assigned ADAs. Effective January 1, 2023.
