Senate amendment to the 1st edition amends GS 62-133.8 by amending the definition of new renewal energy facility, so that among its three options, the term includes a renewable energy facility that is a hydroelectric power facility (was, a hydroelectric power facility that delivers electric power to an electric power supplier in the previous edition). Also amends the definition of renewable energy facility so that it means a facility that meets the specified requirements, no longer excluding a hydroelectric power facility with a generation capacity of more than 10 megawatts.
