H 168 (2013-2014) DIVISION OF ATTY'S FEES IN WORKERS' COMP (NEW). Filed Feb 27 2013, A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT GRANTING THE NORTH CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL COMISSION JURISDICTION TO DECIDE DISPUTES BETWEEN AN EMPLOYEE'S PAST AND CURRENT ATTORNEYS REGARDING THE DIVISION OF A FEE AS APPROVED BY THE COMMISSION.

Senate amendment #2 makes the following change to the 3rd edition.

Provides that this act, which is effective when it becomes law, applies to fee disputes for which no action to adjudicate has been filed in superior court prior to that date.

H 468 (2013-2014) HIGH POINT ELECTIONS/TRYON CHARTER AMENDMENTS Filed Mar 27 2013, AN ACT TO CHANGE THE METHOD OF ELECTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF HIGH POINT TO HOLD THE ELECTIONS IN ODD‑NUMBERED YEARS AND BY A NONPARTISAN PRIMARY AND ELECTION METHOD AS PROVIDED BY GENERAL LAW AND TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF TRYON.

Senate amendment makes the following changes to the 4th edition.

Deletes proposed changes to Article IV, Regular Election Procedure, Section 4.3, and Article XV, Claims Against the Town, Section 15.1 of the Town of Tryon Charter, which made specified language gender neutral.
