AN ACT TO REQUIRE A CANDIDATE OR APPOINTEE FOR THE OFFICE OF SHERIFF TO DISCLOSE ALL FELONY CONVICTIONS, INCLUDING ANY EXPUNGED CONVICTIONS.
Senate committee substitute to the 2nd edition changes the act's effective date to October 1, 2021 (was, effective on the date the act becomes law), applicable to elections and appointments to the office of sheriff on or after that date.
