Bill summary

Senate amendment makes the following changes to the 4th edition.

Specifies that notwithstanding the proposed changes to GS 116-239.11, which concern required allocations by the State Board of Education to laboratory schools, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is prohibited from providing funding for laboratory schools for transportation services until existing transportation service agreements with the local school administrative hosting the laboratory school expire or are modified, if applicable. Requires units to provide a copy of such existing agreements to DPI.
