Senate committee substitute to the 2nd edition makes the following changes.

Changes the effective date of Section 2 (Abolishes the office of coroner in the specified counties) and Section 3 (allowing any coroner elected in the 2018 or 2020 general election to serve the remainder of their term) from when the act became law to January 1, 2021.
