Bill summary
As the title indicates. Amends GS 136-202 to limit each Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and amends GS 136-212 to limit each Rural Transportation Planning Organization (RPO) to only conducting studies for projects which the MPO has sufficient funding available to begin work on or complete, regardless of any state law to the contrary.Effective when this act becomes law and applies to studies conducted on or after that date.
