Bill summary
Authorizes the Dare County Board of County Commissioners (Board of Commissioners) to call an election in the specified voting precinct, decided by majority vote, on whether the Hatteras Village Community Center District (as described) can use the ad valorem tax in SL 1981212 to construct and maintain multiuse pathways around Hatteras Village. Directs the Dare County Board of Elections to determine and declare the results of the election, and certify the results to the Board of Commissioners. Specifies the text of the ballot. Directs the Board of Commissioners to adopt a resolution in the event of an affirmative vote.
Amends SL 1981212 to authorize the use of the ad valorem tax as described above, effective upon an affirmative vote as described above.
