Subject to approval by a majority of voters during the 2026 general election, adds new Section 39 to Article I of the North Carolina Constitution, establishing the right to work free from undue constraints and coercion. Specifies the State’s public policy that a person’s right to work cannot be denied or abridged on account of membership or non-membership in any labor union or labor organization or association. Effective upon certification.
