AN ACT TO ALLOW LOCAL BOARDS OF EDUCATION FLEXIBILITY WITH STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL IN THE USE OF REMOTE INSTRUCTION DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR WHEN NEEDED TO ENSURE STUDENT HEALTH AND SAFETY DUE TO COVID-19.
Senate committee substitute to the 1st edition makes the following changes.
Changes the act's long title.
Adds that if any provision of the act or its application is held unconstitutional, then the act applies to new members joining the Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System and the Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System on or after July 1, 2020.
