Amends GS 58-37-35 regarding membership of the 12-member Board of Governors (Board) of the Motor Vehicle Reinsurance Facility (Facility). Adds that one member must be appointed by the Commissioner of Insurance (Commissioner) who must be selected from two nominees submitted by the Alliance of Insurance Agents of NC. Reduces from five to four the members who must be appointed by the Commissioner who are fire and casualty insurance agents licensed and actively engaged in writing motor vehicle insurance in the State. Applies to all appointments made on or after the date the act becomes law.
