AN ACT TO AMEND PENALTIES AND REMEDIES FOR FACILITIES LICENSED TO CARE FOR THE MENTALLY ILL, DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED, OR SUBSTANCE ABUSERS AND FOR ADULT CARE HOME FACILITIES AND TO REMOVE THE SUNSET FOR THE PILOT PROGRAM TO STUDY THE USE OF ELECTRONIC SUPERVISION DEVICES IN CERTAIN FACILITIES.

House committee substitute makes the following changes to the 1st edition.

Deletes all provisions of the previous edition and instead requires the Legislative Research Commission to study whether to ensure that patients in this state have a right to choose their athletic trainer under their health benefit plans. Requires a report to the 2016 Regular Session of the 2015 General Assembly when it convenes.

Amends the act's short and long titles.
