House committee substitute makes the following changes to the 1st edition:
Amends proposed GS 47-36.2. Amends the definition ofrecorded plat to provide that the plat has been prepared by a professional land surveyor (currently, licensed land surveyor), licensed under GS Chapter 89C. Amends the requirements for a sufficient curative affidavit to require that an appropriate jurat be completed by a notary public (currently, affixed by a notary public).
Amends GS 161-14.1(a) to make the definition ofsubsequent instrument include corrective notice affidavits (was, corrective affidavits).
