TO PROVIDE CERTAIN PROTECTIONS TO GALAX AND VENUS FLYTRAP UNDER THE PLANT PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION ACT, TO REQUIRE ANY PERSON WHO ACTS IN THE CAPACITY OF A DEALER OF EITHER OF THESE PLANTS TO OBTAIN A DEALER PERMIT, AND TO INCREASE THE CIVIL PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF CERTAIN RULES OF THE WILDLIFE RESOURCES COMMISSION.
House amendment makes the following change to 3rd edition. Amends proposed GS 106-202.19(a)(6a), adding that the subdivision does not apply to a person in lawful possession of the land who has a recorded lease that allows for the disturbance or removal of any vegetation on the land.
