AN ACT TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO ESTABLISH A SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE CITY AND TO ENHANCE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SMALL BUSINESS TO PARTICIPATE IN CITY CONTRACTS AND TO AUTHORIZE CALDWELL COUNTY TO REQUIRE THE PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES BEFORE RECORDING DEEDS CONVEYING PROPERTY.Intro. by B. Authorizes the governing board of the Town of Centerville to continue in office for 30 days after the date it completes liquidation of the Town's assets and liabilities, and submits its final audit to the Department of State Treasurer, and any other required financial reports (was, for 30 days after the bill became law). Directs that net assets of the Town shall be paid to the Fire and Rescue Association, Inc. of Centerville, NC (was, the Centerville Fire Department).
