TO REQUIRE A RED BORDER OR BACKGROUND ON LICENSES ISSUED BY THE DIVISION OF MOTOR VEHICLES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE LEGALLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES FOR A LIMITED DURATION OF TIME TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE REAL ID ACT OF 2005.

Rewrites GS 20-7(s) to clarify that when a person in the United States for a limited time is issued a driver’s license of limited duration, such license must bear a distinguishing mark or other designation on the face of the license clearly denoting the limited duration of the license (previously, must have a red background or border). Makes conforming change to title.
