    Amends GS 95-131 to provide that the exemption of agricultural operations from the general industry standard provided by 29 CFR ยง 1928.1 (occupational safety and health standards applicable to agricultural operations) is to apply to all businesses engaged in agriculture as that term is defined in GS 106-581.1. Amends GS 106-581.1 to modify the definition for the terms agriculture, agricultural, and farming to include items that are similar to commodities produced on the farm and are either purchased by or consigned to the farm owner or operator for use on the farm or for the purpose of fulfilling contracts for the sale and purchase of commodities produced on the farm.
