Includes whereas clauses. Appropriates $3 million from the General Fund to The Maritime Heritage Foundation of Beaufort, North Carolina, Inc. for 2021-22 to begin the advance planning phase focusing on the future construction of a new NC Maritime Museum in Beaufort at Gallants Channel. Restricts use of funds to completing a Master Site Plan, hiring an architect and project manager, and taking actions to maintain, protect and secure boundaries and public access to the site and the waterfront, as well as undertaking all utilities, site, and infrastructure improvements. Effective July 1, 2021.
