AN ACT ALLOWING FOOD STANDS TO PROVIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR CUSTOMERS TO USE WHILE CONSUMING DRINKS OR FOOD UPON THE PREMISES AND TO AUTHORIZE PUSHCARTS OR MOBILE FOOD UNITS TO PREPARE AND SERVE FOOD ON THE PREMISES, PROVIDED THEY ARE BASED FROM A COMMISSARY OR RESTAURANT LOCATED ON THE PREMISES OF A FACILITY CONTAINING THREE THOUSAND PERMANENT SEATS. Enacted June 24, 2015. Section 1 is effective October 1, 2015. The remainder is effective June 24, 2015.

Amends the short and long titles.
Amends GS 130-248(c1) to allow pushcarts or mobile food units based from a permitted commissary or restaurant located on the premises of a facility containing at least 3,000 permanent seats to prepare and serve food on the premises. Sets out requirements to be met for the preparation of raw meat, poultry, and fish and other sanitation requirements. Effective when the act becomes law.

Defines food stand as a food establishment holding a permit to prepare or serve food without seating facilities. Effective October 1, 2015.
