As title indicates, amends section 2 of the Town of Vanceboro’s charter, Chapter 114 of the 1876-77 Session Laws, as amended, to hold regular elections every four years (was, every two years), beginning in 2024, in accordance with the North Carolina uniform municipal election laws. Prohibits holding municipal election in Vanceboro in 2023. Extends the term of the mayor and all aldermen currently serving terms that expire in 2023 until the 2024 municipal elections.
