Includes whereas clauses. Appropriates $5 million in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Family and Well-Being (Division) to establish and administer a Youth Sports Scholarship Program (Program). Sets four requirements and limitations of the Program, including limiting scholarship eligibly to families whose total income is at or below 200% of the current poverty level, capping awards to one household to $1,000, requiring the Division to limit the uses of scholarships to three specified purposes, and authorizing the Division to use up to 5% of the appropriated funds for administrative purposes. Effective July 1, 2022.
