AN ACT TO CREATE A BOARD TO GOVERN THE FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES PROVIDED TO PROPERTIES BY THE TEN-TEN (FAIRVIEW) RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT IN WAKE COUNTY.
House amendment makes the following changes to the 3rd edition.
Requires the Wake County Board of Commissioners to furnish their accounting for the fire district taxes on properties provided fire protection services by the Ten-Ten (Fairview) rural fire protection district to the Ten-Ten (Fairview) Fire Protection Oversight Board (Board) on March 1 and at other times upon the request of the Board (previously, only furnished upon request by the Board). Prohibits the Board's budget recommendation to the Wake County Commissioners required by the act from exceeding the amount reported to the Board on March 1.
