House amendment makes the following changes to the 2nd edition.
Amends proposed language in Section 4 of the Red Springs Town Charter, SL 1949-1252, by removing the provision that prohibited the compensation for the board of commissioners and the mayor from exceeding the average compensation for mayors or commissioners, whichever is applicable, included in the most recent annual survey of municipal salaries for towns with a population of 2,500 to 5,000 published by the North Carolina League of Municipalities.
