A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO REQUIRE COMMUNITY COLLEGES TO ADOPT WRITTEN POLICIES PROHIBITING THE USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS IN BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES, ON COMMUNITY COLLEGE CAMPUSES, AT COMMUNITY COLLEGE-SPONSORED EVENTS, AND IN OR ON OTHER COMMUNITY COLLEGE PROPERTY.
Amends GS 115D-20.1 to require community college boards of trustees, by August 1, 2014, to prohibit the use of tobacco in community college buildings and facilities, on campuses, in community college vehicles, and on other propery owned, leased, or operated by a community college.
