    Amends GS 115C-47 to require local boards of education to adopt a policy giving classroom experience to professional employees who do not have daily contact with students. Requires the policy to require the employees to deliver instruction or have other contact with students in classrooms during the instructional day. Allows the policy to require employees as a part of their regular duties to (1) serve as substitute teachers in the classroom, (2) teach model lessons in the classroom, (3) assist teachers in the classroom, (4) tutor individual students in the classroom, or (5) provide other services in the classroom. Allows the policy to provide for up to one renewal credit every five years per employee for these activities. Applies beginning with the 2015-16 school year.
