    Amends GS 163-201 to divide North Carolina into 13 congressional districts to nominate and elect members of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012 and every two years thereafter, as follows. District 1 includes the following counties: Bertie, Chowan, Edgecombe, Franklin, Gates, Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, Northampton, Perquimans, Vance, Warren, Washington, and specified parts of Beaufort, Craven, Granville, Jones, Lenoir, Nash, Pasquotank, Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson. District 2 includes the following counties: Harnett, Johnston, Lee, and specified parts of Chatham, Moore, Nash, Sampson, and Wake. District 3 includes the following counties: Camden, Carteret, Currituck, Dare, Hyde, Onslow, Pamlico, Tyrell, and specified parts of Beaufort, Craven, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, Pasquotank, Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson. District 4 includes the following counties: Durham, Orange, and specified parts of Chatham and Wake. District 5 includes the following counties: Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Davie, Mitchell, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin, and specified parts of Forsyth and Stokes. District 6 includes the following counties: Alamance, Randolph, and specified parts of Davidson, Guilford, Rockingham, Rowan, and Stokes. District 7 includes the following counties: Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, Pender, Robeson, Scotland, and specified parts of Cumberland, Duplin, and Sampson. District 8 includes the following counties: Anson, Hoke, Montgomery, Richmond, Stanly, and specified parts of Cabarrus, Cumberland, and Moore. District 9 includes Union County, and specified parts of Gaston and Mecklenburg. District 10 includes the following counties: Burke, Catawba, Cleveland, Iredell, Lincoln, and specified parts of Gaston and Rutherford. District 11 includes the following counties: Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Polk, Swain, Transylvania, Yancey, and specified parts of Rutherford. District 12 includes specified parts of the following counties: Cabarrus, Davidson, Forsyth, Mecklenburg, and Rowan. District 13 includes the following counties: Caswell, Person, and specified parts of Granville, Guilford, Rockingham, and Wake. Applies to elections held on or after January 1, 2012.
