Enlarges the exemptions from the Department of Health and Human Servces (DHHS)'s certifcate of need review set forth in GS 131E-184 to now exempt from review any new institutional health service established, developed, or acquired by any entity working in partnership or conjunction with the Department of the State Treasurer.

Appropriates $50,000 to the Department of the State Treasurer from the General Fund for 2026-27 to take any actions permitted by the act. 

 

Effective July 1, 2026.
