Supports statehood for Washington, D.C., encourages members of Congress to enact legislation providing statehood for Washington, D.C., and directs the North Carolina secretary of State to distribute this joint resolution to members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation, Clerk of the US House of Representatives, and Secretary of the US Senate.
