Bill summary
House committee substitute makes the following changes to 1st edition.
Amends the short title.
Amends GS 120-2 to establish boundaries for 120 House districts with each district electing one representative to the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2018 and periodically thereafter.Applies to elections held on or after January 1, 2018.
A map of the districts proposed in the committee substitute is posted on the General Assemblyäó»s website here(link is external); however the map does not reflect technical corrections concerning the labeling of District 7 and District 25.
