AN ACT TO ALLOCATE THE PARKING SPACES IN THE UPPER LEVEL OF STATE PARKING DECK 65 TO THE LEGISLATIVE SERVICES COMMISSION TO SUPPORT SECURITY MEASURES FOR THE LEGISLATIVE COMPLEX.
House committee substitute makes the following changes to the 1st edition.
Changes the act's long title.
Deletes the proposed provision in GS 120-32.1 that authorized the Legislative Services Commission to charge a fee of up to $5 per month while the General Assembly is in regular session for parking spaces located in the upper level of State Parking Deck 65 in addition to any existing parking fee. Makes clarification that it is the parking spaces in the upper level of State Parking Deck 65 that are proposed to be considered as State Legislative buildings and grounds.
