House committee substitute to the 1st edition makes the following changes. Amends GS 115C-83.15(b)(2), concerning the calculation of the overall school achievement score, by requiring that for schools serving students in grades 9-12, one point is to be assigned for each percent of students who either (1) achieve the minimum score required for admission into a UNC constituent institution on a nationally normed test of college readiness or (2) are enrolled in Career and Technical Education courses and score at Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels on a nationally normed test (was, one point was scored for each of those categories). Makes conforming changes to the act's long title.
