Bill summary
Amends GS 115C84.2(d) to authorize a local board of education to schedule its school opening date for any school in the local school administrative unit to coincide with the opening date of a community college serving the city or county in which the unit is located, so long as the opening date is no earlier than August 15. Applies beginning with the 201718 school year.
