Amends GS 14190.5A to expand the definition of image to include computer-generated images and other reproductions produced by electronic means. Deletes the definition of personal relationship and reasonable expectation of privacy. Amends the list of requirements for an act to constitute the crime of disclosure of private images to require that the offending person have obtained the image without consent of the depicted person or under circumstances such that the person knew or should have known that the depicted person expected the images to remain private (currently, requires the person to disclose the image under circumstances such that the person knew or should have known that the depicted person had a reasonable expectation of privacy).
Effective December 1, 2017.
