Amends GS 115C84.2(d) to allow Warren County Schools to open as early as the Monday closest to August 10. Amends GS 115C174.12(a)(4) to allow a local board of education to administer assessments prior to the conclusion of a semester when the fall semester ends before December 31.
Applies beginning with the 201718 school year.
