Repeals Sections C and D of Article V of "A Plan For Merger of the Rowan County School and the Salisbury City Schools, as approved by the State Board of Education, filed with the Secretary of State, and amended by SL 1987-890. Provides that, beginning in either 2018 or 2020 (depending on when the referendum required by this act occurs), the Rowan Salisbury Board of Education (Board) will have seven members, each elected on a partisan basis from a single-member residency district, as specified.
