TO APPROPRIATELY INCREASE THE PENALTIES FOR FELONY DEATH BY VEHICLE AND AGGRAVATED FELONY DEATH BY VEHICLE SO THAT THE PUNISHMENT FOR CAUSING A DEATH WHILE DRIVING IMPAIRED IS ONE CLASS HIGHER THAN CAUSING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY WHILE DRIVING IMPAIRED, AND TO MAINTAIN THE PENALTY FOR AGGRAVATED FELONY DEATH BY VEHICLE AT ONE CLASS HIGHER THAN FELONY DEATH BY VEHICLE.
