Amends GS 161-10 concerning fees charged by registers of deeds for death certificates, providing that all registers of deeds must issue, without any charge, certified and uncertified copies of death certificates to the spouse, sibling, direct ancestor or descendant, stepparent, or stepchild of a deceased veteran of the US Armed Forces that was discharged or released from the US Armed Forces under honorable conditions.
Effective July 1, 2015.
