Appropriates $169 million from the State Capital and Infrastructure Fund to the UNC Board of Governors for 2025-26 to be allocated to North Carolina Central University to be used for (1) the repair, upgrade, and replacement of failing plumbing, HVAC infrastructure, fire alarm, building code, and mechanical systems; (2) for campus-wide roof replacements and building envelope repairs to prevent further water damage, mold growth, and structural deterioration; and (3) for the replacement or overhaul of failing electrical, water, and steam distribution systems. Effective July 1, 2025.
