Amends GS 115C-12 to require middle and high school students participating in interscholastic athletic competitions to undergo a medical examination at least once each calendar year and allows the exam to be performed by a a physician, chiropractor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant licensed to practice in this state. Applies beginning with the 2017-18 school year.
